| Born in Sweden but raised in Canada, Malin Maria Akerman began her professional career at the tender age of 5 when she appeared in her first of many TV commercials.Several years later, Malin ascended to the top of the ranks when she won the prestigious Ford Supermodel of Canada title. Only 17 at the time of her victory, Malin Akerman spent her next three summers parading down European catwalks while building a reputation as one of the planet's most promising young models.Despite her success in modeling, Malin Akerman made the transition into acting with a guest role on the trippy sci-fi series Earth Final Conflict in 1997. Other parts soon followed on television shows such as Relic Hunter, Twice in a Lifetime, Doc, A Nero Wolfe Mystery, Entourage, and The Comeback, where she played the recurring role of Juna Millken opposite Lisa Kudrow. |
